New Year Eve's

A story of a surviving family.

Ehri was the third eldest from the nine siblings. She was away from his family since her work is far from their home she just visited them during weekends and go with them to attend church services. Ehri father passed away year 2009. According to the doctor's her father died either of heart attack or some stem of it's brain collapse. But Ehri think it was both since his father was a chain smoker. After a year her mother started to having affairs with guys 10 years younger on her and worst guys who are separated on their wives. Her brother (the bread winner that time)who was in abroad get home March 2010. And the major reason of his brother going home is because of his girl friend here in Philippines he is planning to marry her the twist is he haven't seen the girl personally they've just met on internet and their relationship build up because of text and calls. But after four months their relationship lasts. His girlfriend end it. From March -December her brother was jobless, arrogant, depressed and non-existent

Because of this unfortunate events Ehri siblings suffers. One of her sister stop studying, their utilities is cut out and her siblings eat the same food always or eat nothing at all.

New year eve Ehri and her siblings having a conversation on happy thoughts then one of her sister tell her experience/confession on how blessed she is and their family. She remembers before when they don't have water she always pray that it will rain so they can have water to clean dishes, wash their clothes and they could take bath. Fortunately when they pray it started to rain. One moment she shared it was dawn and it's raining she is thinking if she was going to wake up just to take bath on the rain. Then her other sister also shared that she she have the same feeling and when the rain comes out she ready the water container and play on the rain to take bath. Ehri can help but laugh because on how her sister narrate their experience. And then her other sister said they ate lugaw always because that's their budget could afford. And she remembers how their brother complain about their food. They also shared that they ate all the TALBOS NG KAMOTE in our yard. They already try different dishes from it. And then her younger brother said that he always wishes that he can always harvest from our yards well his younger brother doesn't eat vegetable that's why he counting on KAMOTE the her sister laugh from it whenever their little brother wishes for that because KAMOTE can harvested every 5 months he is wishing for IMPOSSIBLE.

From that confession and sharing of experience EHRI realizes that her sibling is growing matured and stronger. And she think that their love for each other was the best things happens on them...
