Stereotyping

stereotype is a popular belief about specific types of individuals. The concepts of "stereotype" and "prejudice" are often confused with many other different meanings. Stereotypes are standardized and simplified conceptions of groups based on some prior assumptions. Another name for stereotyping is bias. A bias is a tendency, most of these are good like knowing to eat food instead of paper clips, but sometimes stereotyping can turn into discrimination if we misinterpret a bias and act upon it in a negative manner (WIKIPIDEA)

Last Friday I've attended, a gender sensitivity training, This seminar open our mind to be more matured and accept the different gender exist nowadays. And we should accept the fact that people who have different gender is still part of the society and instead of  discriminating them, we should understand them, that makes him/her.

The cutest part of the seminar is when they played a video about differences of WOMAN and MEN. Men do sleep, drunk beer, watch TV and rest when they get home after work while their working wives do household chores after they work. Men do tell to their best buddies if he is in love while Women share to all of her friends who is she in love. MEN do sleep watching Romantic movies and WOMEN do cries when watching. Most of the time Women go to the bathroom. Women takes hours in shopping because she usually does window shopping. The ending of the video is the MEN and WOMEN will be happy if both partners will give and take and understand the differences of the  both side.

The speaker emphasize the WOMEN Empowerment, capabilities, potentials and skills. We women should not think inside the box but also think outside the box. We should dream bigger and never think that we can't compete with men on all aspects. We should have confidence that we could do something and we can share our ideals and skills.

I hate people who discriminate person capability to improve and to do their tasks assigned to them. It's like telling to them that they couldn't achieve anything and they will never improved and there status will be like that forever. I've always give someone chance to express his ideas even if it is wrong or inconsiderate because I do respect someone idea and opinion in everything.

A lesson in Psychology

When someone laughs too much, evn on stupid things,
that person is sad deep nside.

When someone sleeps a lot,
that person is lonely.

When someone does not talk much & if he talks, he talks fast,
that person keeps a secret.

When someone cant cry,
that person is weak.

When someone eats in a strange way,
that person is in tnsion.

& finally,
When someone asks about u, although that person might be vry busy,
that someone loves you, more than you do.

Sleep Paralysis

Believe it or not, your body is virtually paralyzed during your sleep – most likely to prevent your body from acting out aspects of your dreams. Glands begin to secrete a hormone that helps induce sleep and neurons send signals to the spinal cord which cause the body to relax and later become essentially paralyzed.

Sleep Paralysis is thought to be demons or ghosts sitting on ones chest, while the sleeper is aware of what is happening. Here are some of the symptoms of Sleep Paralysis:

Buzzing in ears
Unable to move or call out
Halucinations
Sense of danger
Pressure on chest or face

During an episode, the sleeper can see everything in the room but some things my look distorted. Sometimes the victim will feel a presence or even see a figure in your room and begin to panic. These are very frightening and I even experienced a few.

Sometimes it is associated with a few sleep disorders. Here is a list of factors that can cause such an episode:

Sleeping on your back
Irreguar sleeping patterns
Stress
Depression
Anxiety
Lucid dreaming

Have you ever experienced this "Old Hag Syndrome?"

I've experienced this several times whenever it occurs I prayed so hard and called the name of Heavenly Father. When i woke up from this paralysis I read verses from bible, pray and hold my sister hand so tightly.

Honestly, this stuffed scared me so much. I don't want to die not doing anything or struggling to SAVE my life or extending it. I want to fight until the end, so I can die peacefully and with no regrets.

I have  a lot of plans and things to do list for myself.  I want to savor the gift from God. I've realized that for the past year I been hiding on my closet because I'm afraid on people criticism and peer pressure. But this time I wont let anyone stop me from doing that I've think will make me happy and proud myself
