Sleep Paralysis

Believe it or not, your body is virtually paralyzed during your sleep – most likely to prevent your body from acting out aspects of your dreams. Glands begin to secrete a hormone that helps induce sleep and neurons send signals to the spinal cord which cause the body to relax and later become essentially paralyzed.

Sleep Paralysis is thought to be demons or ghosts sitting on ones chest, while the sleeper is aware of what is happening. Here are some of the symptoms of Sleep Paralysis:

Buzzing in ears
Unable to move or call out
Halucinations
Sense of danger
Pressure on chest or face

During an episode, the sleeper can see everything in the room but some things my look distorted. Sometimes the victim will feel a presence or even see a figure in your room and begin to panic. These are very frightening and I even experienced a few.

Sometimes it is associated with a few sleep disorders. Here is a list of factors that can cause such an episode:

Sleeping on your back
Irreguar sleeping patterns
Stress
Depression
Anxiety
Lucid dreaming

Have you ever experienced this "Old Hag Syndrome?"

I've experienced this several times whenever it occurs I prayed so hard and called the name of Heavenly Father. When i woke up from this paralysis I read verses from bible, pray and hold my sister hand so tightly.

Honestly, this stuffed scared me so much. I don't want to die not doing anything or struggling to SAVE my life or extending it. I want to fight until the end, so I can die peacefully and with no regrets.

I have  a lot of plans and things to do list for myself.  I want to savor the gift from God. I've realized that for the past year I been hiding on my closet because I'm afraid on people criticism and peer pressure. But this time I wont let anyone stop me from doing that I've think will make me happy and proud myself
